WebMail version 1.8 was released on the 1st February 2002.
List of changes in the version:

New address book

• Improved functionality - now address book can store various contact information. Most of vCard format fields are supported
• The design has changed. Now it's even more comfortable to use address books

Changes in the calendar

• Event add/edit window design has changed

Changes in the mail client

• A possibility to use text formatting in sending mail. Built-in editor allows using text formatting opportunities without knowing HTML language

• When sending mail, sender can request confirmation whether it was received by recipient
• Not only "," can be used as e-mail addresses delimeter, but also ";"
• PGP key can be imported from mail's body
• Contacts can be added to address books from received mails' From, To, ReplyTo headers
• Incoming mail is checked for potentially dangerous code
• Bug, concerning large amounts of mail (more than 1500 messages) is fixed. Before that, the mail receiving process stopped because of timeout before all messages have been got.

Administration

• A tool created, which allows admin to manage users' local spools. Admin can get information about spool's size, number of messages in the spool. Correspondence can be removed from spool, filtered by date [screenshot]
• Not only "admin" user has access to administration interface, but also all members of "admins" group
• Maximum attachment size can be limited for particular users or groups
• Restriction can be set on the number of login attempts with incorrect login/password
• Period of password validity can be limited
